LI BREW TOUR FAQs

How many different breweries will we visit and how many beers can I taste?

In general, most of our beer tours start at a minimum of 3 breweries. However, we’re also able to customize your trip and add or decrease breweries as needed. The number of beers tasted at each brewery depends largely on the brewery itself and how many different types of beers they have ready to serve, but usually ranges between 4-8 beers.

Are there any restrictions to taking a tour?

Yes, you must be 21 years old with a valid form of ID to prove it.

Is food included in the beer tour price?

We’ve found that most of our beer fans prefer to pay for their food separately. While many of the breweries we visit have food options on-site, we also can plan a dining stop on any of our Brooklyn, Riverhead, or Long Island beer tours. In addition, we can also arrange box lunches to be included if desired.

How many people can be in my beer tasting tour?

We’ve created intimate beer tastings for as little as two people before and groups as large as 50. However, for groups over 50 people, we’ve discovered that the tour can move slower and limit your enjoyment of the experience.

What kind of tour vehicles are used for your Long Island beer tours?

Because LI Beer Tasting Tours is a full-featured provider, we have a full complement of upscale limousines and specialty vehicles available. During the booking process, we’ll help you choose between our well-appointed limos, stretch SUVs, party buses and more depending on your group size. See here for more details about our fleet.

Can I bring my own beer during a tour?

This is allowed, however keep in mind your intoxication level as many breweries cannot let in patrons they deem “Too Intoxicated”, and we are not responsible for this.

Can I change the group size of my party the same week of the tour?

You are responsible for the group minimum of your contract, if people drop out, you will still have to pay for them. If you want to add more people,  that is dependent upon the vehicle you contracted. If the vehicle can accommodate more people and we can add them onto the tastings, we will gladly do that

I don’t see the brewery I want on your list. Can it be included?

While we have existing partnerships with a large number of Riverhead, Brooklyn, and Long Island breweries, new ones appear all the time. If you want to include a specific brewery on your tour, simply give us a call at (516) 833-6455 and we’ll contact the brewery to make it happen.
